Doppler is the solo project of Alberto Lobillo, originally from Puebla, Mexico. His immersion in the psytrance soundscape began in the early 2000s with the groundbreaking album Cosma – Nonstop, which opened the doors to a completely new sonic universe and marked the beginning of his musical journey. His first productions were released on the prestigious German label Iono Music, before he continued his evolution in 2021 with Techsafari Records (Canada), and the support of DJ Rikam, founder of the label and organizer of the Eclipse festival. This step allowed him to reach an international audience and gave rise to new creative collaborations and remixes for artists like Kalki and One Function, as well as appearances on Psy-Nation Radio, hosted by Ace Ventura and Liquid Soul. More recently, his release on Zen Mechanics’ label, Sourcecode Transmissions, marked another key step—consolidating his artistic vision and establishing Doppler as a rising figure in the progressive psy-trance scene.
